The "Shivanand Arati"

A DIWALI OFFERING :)

THE "SHIVANAND ARATI"

Reviving the "Shivanand Arati" and presenting in a modified modern genre, yet trying to preserve the traditional and classical touch of India. This is an effort made to offer gratitude in one way to the Guru who changed so many lives and is changing. Also, this is an offering to all sadhaks in love with Babaji and is an attempt to enhance the spirits of sadhaks for some sankirtan of devotion. Since this is a Guru Arati, request to pardon if anything not found up to your expectation. Namah Shivaya.

  1. It is really nice and the wordings are very meaningful.

Please advise if this has been approved and adopted by Babaji to be sung at his Sat sangs?

  2. As far as i know, it is not sung in open satsangs for obvious reasons.. one may use it for self-use.. moreover the guru arati is something that is sung in the glory of the Guru to create the bhaav of gratitude and unification more than trying to please the Guru. The Guru does not seek praise of any kind and so this song is only for the disciples' inner self to unify with the Guru.. namah shivaya
