You are the Miracle

As Baba says everything in nature itself is a miracle if looked at carefully as to how intrinsically each and everything in the Universe functions. It is amazing to even ponder on the "automatic" functions of even the smallest thing invisible to us to the visible gross forms to the largest things hidden to our eyes and minds, every bit is a miracle.

This automatic mode is what makes us all part of that miracle. This picture reminded me today how even you and me are miracles. The baby and all it's "automatic" functions are the flow with life, the surrender. i realize that babies are wholesome miracles because they are fully on auto-pilot until they learn something externally. Slowly the miraculous part part of the human starts shrinking once it's own identity and ideas are generated. However, that miraculous quality, though shrunk in quantity and quality, can never completely be eradicated for i sense that little flame is the essence of the soul. It just gets buried under mucks of thoughts and ideas which gives oneself a separated identity and a feeling of separateness from existence. This probably is what is put in the spiritual dictionary as ego, out of which stems the ignorance. Then, comes the Guru, to uncover one from the mud and help oneself out of the heaps of self-created miseries. Baba always says that nothing is a miracle but simply the way of life, which He rightly calls the ShivYog way of life. Following ShivYog one begins seeing sunlight through the thinning heaps of mud which we call as a miracle. The more one wriggles out, the more so-called "miracles" happen. We are awed by our own light! Because we forget that we are light. This picture reminded me of the same and am humbled at realizing now why Baba, being himself a miraculous light, lives as though all the mysteries and wonders are the simple normal ways of life, the smallest knowing of which can widen our eyes to infinity. That is why we need light to show us light. Thanks to the Creator that there is a light for us who can resonate at that high level and so also stoop down to our levels to make us understand our own quality! He is the Guru, the dispeller of darkness. Namo Namaha _/\_ Divine Love and Light!

My Room Broke it's Silence for the First Time

Ha ha.. Some beautiful blends to share today. I have no dear friends that i share things about or chat or phone or talk but whenever feel the urge to, my blogs and facebook are like my diaries through which i share it with the world, which for me represents that "sharing wala friend". But to share further, call me crazy if that pleases you, i converse often with my room.. Almost loudly whenever i come back to it as it seems the only being that waits for The moment i enter it, i say "hi room." and more than often i have seen it light up that lights me up too.

So, as usual, today i enter and say hi and continue my standard template "today was _______." the one thing that changed everyday was the word that filled that blank - "wonderful, exciting, boring, okay, ughhh, etc, etc."

Today i think the room wanted to break the monotony of being the silent listener and it quickly retorted "One day you are high and one day you are low, one day you are okay and one day you are ughh and one day you are in 7th heaven." i said "So what? i am atleast expressing everything honestly to you!" It quickly asked "How does it really matter when none of those expressions are consistent?" Now that was really something. I thought to myself "All this while i was thinking this room is my silent observer who sees me going through all colors and shades of life and today breaks it's silence with an unexpected jolt?" i paused, pondered, smiled and answered "Hmmm. Interesting. But I know it's not me but my mind that keeps changing seasons." To this it immediately said, "Sometimes your mind feels high and sometimes your mind feels low. When then will that "you" be consistently happy?" i replied, "When, like my master, i learn to stay between these both (high and low)." Then there was silence and i waited for the room to continue... but silence..........

That's when something really lit within and i knew now that it will not talk anymore as it had conveyed what it wanted to convey and returned to that very state of "between" that observes everything from that state. I admire my room that has a mastery in this. I smiled and turned to humbly glance at someone on this television in gratitude. Sam Bhaav and Drishta Bhaav arise out this state of neutrality, from which sprouts Har Haal Mein Khushi. My room is none other than my Guru Himself. Divine Love and Light. Description:<3 span="">

A beauty amidst beauty in Alwar

When i once visit the Alwar Goushala, the entire area is full of beauty, but then amidst all the beauty i spotted another little beautiful piece of art lying in the centre of the open grassland. This is not very big; if you pick up this Kamdhenu cow, it will fit easily in both your palms, but found it very beautiful.

Happy Friendship Day

Friendship day i find a great significance in my life and in other's... Who can be your best friend, beyond all the mortal ones. Who can be a true friend who will not leave you come what may. We see in our lives all kinds of friends who have walked in and out of life. Many are those who have helped, supported, cherished, loved, walked with us and still do. Gratitude to all my such dear friends who have always been there.
But at the same time, i can't resist putting forth how still our mortal friends can walk with us not forever and not in the same unwavering spirit, as all mortal beings have limitations. At such a state, my overwhelming gratitude goes to my best friend and guide - Baba, who even being of the stature of Lord Krishna picked this petty Sudama. i certainly am the penniless, having literally nothing, but He acknowledged nothing but my love and picked me up in His arms and gave me shelter and food and love and most of all accepted me the very way i am inclusive of all my short-comings, limitations, sins, pettiness, shabbiness, stupidity, and loved me without judgement. When i raised an eye on someone, He taught to practice unconditional acceptance and love, which began seeping into me because He himself was accepting me with all qualities. He saw through the dark qualities in me, the qualities that may not be good when it comes to matching with the qualities of Light, but then where does Light look down upon darkness? It just shines. The more the darkness, the more the shine. He says that you cannot cure darkness with darkness and that is how His love that permeated light embraced my darkness and that is where darker areas began lighting up. He had to hug me wholly (not physically) including those abstracts and that is when my being including the darker parts of me also felt that love.  i only loved the good parts in me and hated the dark parts in me but He amazingly loved both the good and bad parts in me. If not that embrace of unconditional acceptance, what would happen to Sudamas? He embraces all His children with similar unconditional acceptance and that is where magic happens if that hug is felt. Why do people long for Baba? Because they have felt that Krishna's hug. Every Sudama has been wandering for love and acceptance and how can they resist that hug that makes them feel complete. He is Krishna to the world in many ways, but the real friendship is the Consciousness of that Krishna that hugs everything around because everything is a part of that consciousness.

For Him only the friendship matters, not the position, the caste, the religion, the creed, the color, the status, the quality, the talent, the ability, the disability, the power, the intelligence, the position, the looks, and all other endless lists.
This is what i have learnt since childhood as the quality of God. This was the quality of Lord Krishna when He physically walked on earth. This is the quality of all Gurus towards their disciples. This is the quality of my Guru towards His children. His embrace is all that matters, not the physical one that i speak of. His embrace that can reach anyone, if that anyone can go like Sudama, who went helplessly, weary and tired and the faith that his friend will help him pass through the uncertainties of the ever-changing world. Everything will change, everything that you can look around and think and feel and see around, all relations, all material, the body, the mind, the planet, the grass, the ant... everything is constantly changing, accept the stillness of that Light of God that permeates through Him. If, as Sudama sought his friend in dire need, one looks up for the Krishna, with intense need, it has to be presented to you in some way. This is how "that" Krishna works, for He still works. He is that consciousness, the unchangeable, and so will radiate the unchanged quality of His love and help. Such high state is that quality of Light, that it is hard to reach for petty Sudamas, but easier when that Light permeates through someone who can resonate at the Light of God, of high and pure level of consciousness. That pure light of God, of Krishna, still permeates to all Sudamas, totally unconditionally, through a few Masters of that resonance walking this planet. Our Baba provides the love and nourishment of Krishna for all Sudamas.

This is where He emphasizes on the bhajan -

Kaun Kehta Hai Bhagwan Aate Nahi, Baba Kehte Hai Tum Toh Bulathe Nahi.
(Who says God does not come? Baba says you don't call Him with devotion)

Achyutam Keshavam Krishna Damodaram, Ram Narayanam Jaanaki Vallabham.
(praising Lord Krishna, the Light, with different names of Vishnu)

When Baba says call Him (Baba) and He will come, He means nothing else than calling Krishna, God, Allah, Wahe Guru, through Him, for He has become one with them. Guru tatva is always the mediator between God tatva and Human tatva. That is why Guru is called Light, the dispeller of darkness. Happy Friendship Day. Divine Love and Light.

One Path One Focus

The following is the flow of my personal thoughts and words. Readers to use their own discretion.

A sadhak friend from Pune sent a note the other day to share and it said "Stick to one Guru" which had interesting notes and i thought it should be shared with all since this topic is not just of today but even scriptures and great Masters have emphasized the importance of having one-pointedness in a path or Guru.

This has been practiced since eons, even in those days of those eras that did not have thousands of paths and Gurus as it is now in the Kaliyuga. Today, the word Guru and the real meaning of the teacher is subject to various tests and challenges and also put at the mercy of those who play the role of a Guru out of different intentions and vested interests. Thus, in today's world everything is readily available, so also a Guru.

My views about this are very strong when it comes to a Guru, who has to be the one who has walked a certain path, achieved success in establishing that divine contact and experienced first-hand the experience of being a liberated being, a fully self-realized person. This person, out of free will then chooses to educate the mass and also show others the same path that He walked on and successfully lived and established. It becomes easier now to share this knowledge to those who are struggling on the path to liberation. It also becomes easier now to guide aspirants who do not have to face all those challenges of experimentation with life to achieve spiritual success. But at the same time the Master is well aware of the challenges He would have to face in order to take up this arduous task.

At the other end an aspirant, when triggered by the spark of his or her real self through some or the other experiences of human life, strives to ascend the human limitations and that is when the natural urge to uplift oneself happens. At this time, he or she looks out for help, either around (in the world) or above (God). When the time is right, nature responds to the call by presenting him or her with opportunities to meet their Guru and learn and proceed. The Guru-disciple bond begins. But, in these days, it is not so simple, especially when the world around is at the peak of negative clearances and thus surfaces also all kinds of good, bad and ugly. An aspirant is subject to all kinds of doubts, fear and insecurities on the path. Even those who are connected to their Gurus face these challenges because the ocean is very large and in this ocean is everything. The advancement of human evolution is such that anything and everything is available to them at their slightest wish.
It is like you sit in a coffee house and have a variety of coffees listed before you. Everything is coffee. But the taste is different. In previous days coffee just was coffee and it tasted the same anywhere it was prepared. Today, there are variations. But it does not mean it is not coffee. It is coffee. If you enter the coffee house everytime and drink your favourite coffee, it is fine as it gives you contentment and satisfaction of that urge to drink coffee. But if you have the urge to keep tasting all kinds of coffee it will eventually turn out to be troublesome because if one coffee cannot satisfy you, none can satisfy because the mind will only seek more and more and more in the hope that one is better than the other. Many times in the process of tasting multiple coffees many find that the first one was better and return to taste it back once again. Then there might be a feeling that the third one was better. In the whole process one actually forgets the real coffee flavour and then what happens is confusion and a total distaste in the coffee itself. One might even end up blaming coffees or the process of making coffee or the coffee maker itself.

Now, what has happened is that coffee was just coffee. Kaliyuga brought a coffee house. Even if all the coffee variety were genuine, they would seem good to those who had just the flavour of one as their favourite.

Similarly, one has to one or the other day choose and settle with one Master and one path. All paths look good. All masters are divine and good, but it is important to follow one path or Guru for reasons so genuine that even the scriptures have stressed upon. There is a difference between a Deeksha Guru and a Sheeksha Guru. A sheeksha guru can be anyone in the multiple arenas of life. One can have multiple sheeksha gurus. A sheeksha guru can be a music guru, a dance guru, a martial arts guru, etc. They are Masters of their skill and they impart it as a teacher to their students.  The Deeksha guru can be only one and is the Guru who guides the aspirant on the the final goal of self-realization and liberation. This Guru becomes the highest because He is unfolding the highest possibility and the truth of one taking this birth. Like one of Arjuna's sheeksha guru was Guru Dronacharya and his only one Deeksha Guru was Lord Krishna.

This does not make any other Guru lesser or bad. All Gurus have walked a path and they have found their way in the best way they had worked upon for multiple lifetimes and worked hard to reach that place. All paths are NOT the same. The destination is same. All paths are called one only because they reach the same destination but all paths are NOT the same. An aspirant comes in contact with a Guru who is best suited to their nature and their karmic structures and it is by following those practices that will help one unwind their karmas and proceed. That is how nature helps a disciple and Guru come together, and this goes on even for lifetimes, as a carry forward, giving the seeker opportunities to make it - this time at least. Every time it hopes the work is done. But alas, the freedom of free will may not allow this.

This is a period in Kaliyuga where everything happens at the touch of a button. Life has become too fast. Everything is modernized. Technology is at the mercy of humans, ready to respond at the touch of a button. Everything is quick for man has no time.... no time to stop and smell the roses. If he wishes a rose, he would google a rose image. If he wishes to pray at a temple he prefers to log on to the internet and perform a virtual puja. While technology has helped aspirants in ways beyond imagination, it has also put an aspirant in a gloom of doubt, despair, fear, indecisiveness, insecurity, panic, confusion and hopelessness because this same fast life has somewhere also prompted the seeker to hope and expect quick results, probably with the same click of buttons. The hope and expectations from Gurus also has gone to this extent. While sipping coffee, the eye is always unconsciously glued to other cups, hoping to try that flavour in the hope of bringing ultimate satisfaction. Sometimes it is even to the extent of taking a sip from every cup possible and ending up with the bad stomach. It is this modern rat race and the sense of urgency that is prompting all this.

If this is understood, then one will simple calm down, pull back from all the race and competition and dive deep into what has to be done for the moment and simply do that. Everything happens eventually. Everything happens with time.
Everything happens with self-effort first and then follows grace. No Guru can provide anyone liberation at the touch of a button or at the touch of the third-eye. Even great great evolved beings like Lord Rama, Lord Krishna had Gurus and it took time for them too to work under them. Even Lord Krishna had to learn from his Guru Maharishi Sandeepani and evolve. Even when Lord Krishna was a Guru to Arjuna, he never granted Arjuna moksha in day or moment. In fact, he never intervened into his disciple's freewill though He guided them at all times. Gurus never intervene into their disciple's freewill but guide them as long as they open up and work upon the guidelines and teachings offered to them. The guidelines, teachings and practices that every master set up is itself an example that liberation or total transformation does not happen in a day. It took these Masters also to practice and master these practices in their life. Of course, there are Gurus from time immemorial who may have not had a Guru in their current life or have achieved a lot in their very early years, but it should be known clearly that these are rare exceptions, who have had Gurus in their past lives and who have already worked a lot in their past lives and who at the final stage of their evolution take human births in close perfection to that state of being of perfection.

Hence, what i have even seen in the past 16 years of spiritual struggle, i wish to share with those who seem to be confused or unknowingly wary of why is it there is no speedy progress inspite of 'doing' everything. This 'doing everything' with everything possible available in today's world is what is the cause of this feeling. Also, the progress will begin happening when the teachings are followed in totality without any contamination through internal or external perception. A good amount of self work is certainly required. Guru's grace intensifies that self-work towards progress and the goal. i have seen that the Guru doesn't mind who is with him and who is not for He is beyond all that. But for a seeker to benefit understanding these little things can go a long way to help one's own sadhna. Divine Love and Light.

Would like to add here the note that was sent by the sadhak to share. These are the words of a great saint of yester-years, Swami Sivananda of Rishikesh.

"Stick to one Guru
Do not dig shallow pits here and there for getting water.  The pits will dry up soon.  Dig a very deep pit in one place.  Centralize all your efforts here.  You will get good water that can supply you throughout the year.  Even so, try to imbibe thoroughly the spiritual teachings from one preceptor alone.  Drink deep from one man.  Sit at his feet for some years.  There is no use of wandering from one man to another man, out of curiosity, losing faith in a short time. Follow the spiritual instructions of one man only.  If you go to several people and follow the instructions of many persons, you will be bewildered.  You will be in a dilemma.
From a doctor, you get a prescription.  From two doctors, you get a consultation.  From three doctors, you get your own cremation.  Even so, if you have many Gurus, you will be bewildered.  You will be at a loss to know what to do.  One guru will tell you: "Do Soham Japa." Another will tell you: "Do Japa of Shri Ram."  A third Guru will tell you: "Hear mystic sounds."  You will be puzzled.  Stick to one Guru and follow his instructions.
Listen to all, but follow one.  Respect all, but adore one.  Gather knowledge from all, but adopt the teachings of one Master.  Then you will have rapid spiritual progress."

Ascension Challenges - Churning

Everything written is my own personal views. What i am learning, i am sharing for the benefit of those who may find things confusing. Hence, reader's discretion advised.

Since eons there has always been the battle between the light and the dark. From early mythology to present day scenarios all depict the same. But one thing what the mythology and the deeper secrets of the ancient masters reveal is how darkness is not completely a separate entity but more of the reflection of oneself. Mass consciousness reflects back it's own inner darkness as a mass evil outside. Thus, the most challenging part for a seeker is the battle with one's own darkness. When our own light becomes weak to battle our own darkness, the Guru's powerful light enters to assist our very own light. Read on.

Our darkness shows up when the light wants us to do something and we resistance due to our own old conditionings, habits, patterns, and comfort zones. Resistance to receive love and to give love, to receive grace and to give blessings, to receive pardon and to forgive and let go, to be accepted and to accept others, to let go of fear and embrace love and light, to let go of the old ways and to adapt or adopt the new, and the most biggest challenge at all times for a seeker is to acknowledge and accept one's own shortcomings and mistakes, which is always revealed in some or the other way to those who want to ascend.

One thing has to be known. Every moment of life is like school where every standard has to be passed, in order to be able to grow to the next level. But very interestingly after the usual time being given for studies, contemplation, life reviews, etc, until the test arrives, whether one likes it or not. The test will arrive because the earth is evolving and it is slowly raising it's energies. These increasing energies are the subtle ways the Divine keeps sharing wisdom through many ways and eventually puts one to test with a practical examination of checking whether the theory has been understood or not. If understood it ensures that one follow it too. The challenges occur most the time when one knows the theory well but fails the practicals. This is what is walking the talk. Theory is important. Accumulating wisdom is needed for applying it practically.

Guru comes with not just the wisdom but the backing support for applying it practically too. This is where he walks the talk and lives practically and demonstrates it as an example. Guru is an extreme step of the Divine to show humans that IT IS POSSIBLE. He sends this practical possibility of a live example and that is what enables Him to be a Guru. Life gives gives us enough time to contemplate, attune, learn, cope, adapt, modify according to the syllabus and move forward with the teacher. Then comes the test, to check if we have really adapted and evolved. It will always come with something that will always help cross check with what you are willing to grow out of and transcend. Lessons and tests change from person to person because even though one may follow one practice, still the life lessons are always different. So, there is no two people alike to compare with. However, the process and ways to overcome are largely similar with little variations.

When the light shines, what we first see is our own shadow. Many times, we do not realize that challenges are answers to our own prayers. Challenges are nothing but something that nature sees is not in tune with what is there at a higher rung of evolution and to be there, certain aspects will have to be dealt with. Because one cannot hold more light with certain old dragging systems of darkness being still held to. Like, if I wish to evolve and I keep praying and doing everything to evolve spiritually, and then i see a lot of, what i call as 'troubles' or 'problems' in front of me. This is nothing but an answer to my keenness to grow, that the Universe has identified "Okay take this thing off that does not vibrate at the higher level that you are asking and rise". It always looks otherwise. Evolving faster means more tests at a faster rate. So, it is completely on an individual whether they want to opt this fast track. That is why the spiritual path is not an easy process as it is always guessed or expected to be. The question always arises in a seeker, why are so many things happening when I am into the spiritual process. It is because everything that needs to leave you in order to become purer will surface, will face you head on, will show itself up to you. The manthan (churning) that Babaji speaks about is this. Like a dirty glass of water that after a while looks clean because the mud has settled down. This is clean looking glass is the life that feels is going smooth, but there is underlying karma lying down there. When the awakening happens there is a tremor that shakes up the mud. The intensity of the tremor depends on the intensity of the awakening. (read another 2009 article on the same).

But the greatest intensity is when the Guru initiates the seeker. The Shaktipat tradition is the strongest of all for the Kundalini sparks and rushes from lower to higher annihilating all impurities. The initiation from the Guru is what sparks the churning process. The mud is stirred up. Guru's energies keep pouring into the glass of water and the stirring and so-called chaos happens within the mind, body and emotions. Everything ugly starts coming up to be healed and released. It is during this time, how one can overcome the challenges, that determines the progress. Faith in Guru and the Divine's process will allow easing up to the process without resistance. Resistance only causes more trouble. If resisted, firstly it will be a misery because two forces are frictioning against each other. Funnily, at this time the seeker wishes to be more closer to the Divine and this even increases the intensity from other side because the light will try to snatch that negativity away, but we hold on. The mud will again eventually settle down and that would need another trigger, another attempt. This is why multiple shivirs are needed at times because it is may not seem easy to allow the process to work by itself due to our resistance at every opportunity of healing or release. For on one side the seeker is seeking growth and when the opportunities are provided by nature to overcome impurities normally there is resistance, often by the misunderstanding that these are eternal challenges and problems. In fact, they are all internal stuff facing us. Everything around becomes a mirror often reflecting who we are. What we see outside are the reflections of our own self. This is why Babaji teaches being nonjudgemental and accepting everyone the way they are, for it is said that every person you meet is fighting some or the other battle. An evolved person will often feel more compassionate towards people who may cause them problems because somewhere they know why they are doing it.
When Jesus Christ on the cross was being tortured and crucified, He was still compassionate with those who did that to Him and it is at that time He looked up and prayed, "God, forgive them for they know not what they are doing." Often it can be taken in a wrong way, thinking "they do not know what they are doing" means they do not know what they are doing to someone like Jesus or a representative of God. "They do not know" means they are ignorant and doing things unconsciously because they feel threatened of their own survival due to someone like Christ. This is how dark battles light as a desperate measure to survive. This is how our very own internal darkness struggles in the battle with incoming light in order to survive and stay back. Jesus could see through this and He was only filled with compassion for them and thus He prayed for them. Prayed not to punish for they do not know what they are doing, but prayed to help them overcome their ignorance. This is what i learn as nonjudgemental and total acceptance for they were actually fighting a pitiable battle within themselves, but were projecting and seeing it all as an external enemy and thus lashing it out on Christ. Even in today's world many saints and spiritual masters have been seen to have undergone such, but if you notice, most of these masters are so perfect that they have the compassion to forgive and understand why they are doing it. It is their nonreactive and love and compassion and patience with the Divine ways that enable them to outgrow these temporary fights of dark. They are so powerful masters that if they wish, with a little effort can put elements to ease, but they allow the law of nature to take over and they do their job of praying for them and their ignorance. I have seen my master do this. This quality is the ultimate God quality, for God does not judge anyone and only knows to shower grace. I have cribbed and cried, fretted and fumed and done what not in times of such internal chaos but Baba has always been non-reactive and calm, who only smiled - the smile would be a compassionate one or it would be over my silly ignorances. After a while I see that these were things I had to face - could be my karmic debt or could be my own negativities to be transcended. My resistance proved it to be a struggle whereas actually there is no struggle needed. At such times, what is important to know is that the Guru knows everything and is always praying and showering grace like the sun, unbiased; it is we who are avoiding it in the face of our own adversities, our own karma.
As Babaji says "If you notice negative people and situations being attracted towards you, it's high time to look within and change." He also adds, "This is the time to do more sadhana" because it is these positive energies that will help combat one in lower situations because usually the judgement or discerning capacity of the mind goes down at such times. Thus, resorting to sadhana and positive things helps. But that will only happen when one accepts and takes responsibility that something within is wrong. Till that happens from within, there will be no internal enthusiasm to overcome it in the first case because even if one takes measures to improvize, not accepting means deep down not taking responsibility for that shortcoming.

These are the times that one must first avoid panicking and going bitter. Such are the times that one must quieten the body and mind. Rest. Relax. Drink lots of fluid. Change diets according to needs. Avoid over-thinking or even thinking. Discourage the reactions. Keep still. Calm. Breathe. Accept, that these are my own mud that is stirring up and I am not going to put it back. This is an opportunity for me to release it. With His grace it has surfaced, which is what I have asked, knowingly or unknowingly, now when it has come, let me allow it to be released. How will it release? Either flushing it out through deep breathing and other sadhanas taught by Babaji and Ishanji or if that seems too overwhelming at such moments, just relax and live life in trust in the process of cleansing.
Nachiketa Dhyan CD
Practice the 'Nachiketa Agni Dhyan' that is a powerful guided meditation of Babaji, which can be bought through divine shop. Trust means surrendering to the process and opening the channels for grace to flow in. At the same time not to hold back anything. Cry, shout, punch (your pillow, okay?), dance, exercise, sports.... whatever one feels like doing at that moment. It is a natural way the body and mind is looking to release those pent up dirt in the form of emotions and feelings. Illnesses also are physical releases. Take care of the body at such times. Supporting yourself means supporting the process. Avoid anything negative. Avoid self-pity. Avoid blame. Avoid suppression. Avoid the "whys?"

This triggers self-healing and you would notice over a period of time, everything just subsides and all is well. So, the nature keeps offering us tests to ensure we have outgrown the old to welcome the new. When the new comes in, it flushes out everything old and unwanted to make space for the new. This is the churning process. This is the process of ascension happening. Now, this cleansing process initiates because of a seeker's intention, willingness and keenness to grow and evolve. So, the quicker things happen. But in cases where one does not want to do anything, nature will still offer the test maybe still at a lower pace and longer intervals, but the tests will happen, because earth is evolving and there are no options to stay back in the class. Tests are inevitable but the pace is largely in our hands. All have to evolve becuse that is the natural course and the divine plan. This is where we can pitch in to help others. Helping others would mean being of assistance to those confused in such states, to be kind, tolerant and loving those who need a little support at testing times, that will automatically put you on the mission of the Guru/Divine. But before handling the darkness outside it is but natural that our own darkness will have to be first transmuted. Since the in and out, internal and external are co-related, the dropping of darkness in ourselves will automatically start wiping external darkness too.

This is the time that we all are undergoing massive changes in every form. The body is turning from carbon to crystalline structure, which means turning into light body. These changes and times might be confusing and distressing to many, that is why I attempt to share it all, for I am also travelling the same journey as you. Keep sharing and helping as many as possible to help shine their own light to help clean their own windows through which they see a stained world and eventually it should do good for them as well as us. Baba is always with all of us in this process. Let us stay tuned to him. Gratitude to Baba. Divine Love and Light. Namah Shivay.

Divine Touches of Ishan bhaiya

All written are my own views and not influenced by anything other than the flow of my feelings and emotions. Reader's discretion suggested.

In whatever i have been able to write till now here on this blog with Babaji's grace, Acharya Ishan Shivanand, as he is known, has not been much of a mention. It is so, much because Ishan ji has always kept a low profile on the media, inspite of responsibly shouldering Babaji's mission, inspite of his contribution to the world by conducting independent shivirs and his other activities of serving the world.

Ishan bhaiya, as i address him, because though being in his twenties and looking a kid amongst the mass seekers of ShivYog who are from all ages, he still commands a higher evolved status in his spiritual evolution. Being born to a saint of the lineage of Siddhas, Avdhoot Baba Shivanand, it is but obvious of the stature of being a rishi putra. i always hesitated writing about him because his own energy of working from the background was so powerful that it made it feel natural about not being highlighted. He was well hidden behind the shadows of Babaji and often was seen in the few shivirs that he independently conducted. In all his shivirs, on the platform, he is funny, jovial, emotional, assertive, dynamic, everything always combined with sense of humour. That's all that is known about him as he quietly quits his platform after the shivir ends, a task obediently accomplished to His master and father - Babaji. In the workshops he conducts, everyone can feel the strong essence and presence of Babaji always emanating during the shivir, which is undoubtedly his total surrender to his Guru and the clean channel that he is for his Master to work through him. This explains why his shivirs are as powerful as Babaji's. During the period of shivirs, he is seen to pull off from his 100% worldly tasks, to now turn focused to the other 100% spiritual responsibilities, and in this focused task, he delivers the best for mankind, in both energy and teachings in a very simple, straight forward yet profound and light at the same time.

The other times when he is off shivirs, he is just like another normal human being or rather a total kid, running around the home and office with his mischievous caring for all, passionately playing his drums, practicing weights and his martial arts skills, punching with his boxing gloves the wall pad with the force that could shatter iron, driving around, going places and learning new things enthusiastically, meditating - sometimes even in the wee hours between midnight and early morning, playing with his dogs and doing the thing he loves doing the most - charity. On and often he is seen driving boxes full of eatables and soft drinks to the orphans and destitute, which he personally buys, carries, dumps them in his car, dumps them out, even to pick them up and serve, not waiting for anyone nor wanting to even glance around for a helping hand, sometimes profusely sweating yet the smile never fading to the little children that love him so much and wait very dearly for him.

It's the language of the heart that speaks
He brings them their favorite movies, games, fixes up wide screen television for them and then enthusiastically sits with them like a kid choosing through favorite movie CDs and discussing their contents with the already-knowing kids. He is often surrounded by the children and he is seen sitting right in the center telling them stories and experiences, while they laugh, and laugh, and laugh. Sometimes i hear him telling secret stories about Babaji and His wonders and often wondered why he tells these little ones all these which he never speaks about otherwise. i then realize it is the like-mindedness with these children of pure minds.

The orphan kids queued up for ice-creams
Children tell him whatever they want and it is ensured that he brings them those. If not orphanages, then he is seen driving to the destitute homes visiting abandoned old people and giving them his time and love.

Laughter is all that is in his vicinity
When he is travelling he either comes back with experiences of bungee jumping or underwater dives or some dare-devil act that only he can think of doing or simply he comes back with his simple vivid experiences of being in nature, and some or the other observation in nature and what he learnt from nature.

He is open to learning and is well studied about religions, sometimes having information to most extinct stuff that you might need to google and yet have a hard time finding. i have never seen him differentiating or discriminating any scripture or religion in anyway for he knows the in and out wisdom of how these are interconnected. In fact, i have learnt more about Jesus and the Bible from him and Babaji than i could have read or understood from elsewhere. This demonstrates the open spirit of oneness that resonates in the most profound truths of Babaji's and Ishan bhaiya's teachings and messages. Never discriminating between the rich or poor, high or low, this caste or that, he has always been the same in tone and speech and response to everyone. Humility is the biggest quality that can be observed and learnt from him for he never moves around like the son of a spiritual king, even be it in the shivirs, he always has Babaji's message and love to be shared in his own ways. In his independent shivirs, when the time comes for the healing or grace to be showered, he steps aside, allowing Babaji to fully function through him.

He is packed with ancient wisdom too. Once at the ashram, Babaji instructed him to conduct a brief sharing of the "Avdhoot Gita", which he did for two days for a couple of hours everyday and the wisdom and explanations that flowed from the in-depth meaning of the Avdhoot Gita was profound. People sat in apt silence to listen to the various interpretations of the minutest detail of the scripture. Similarly, he continues to impart around the world - the wisdom and secrets of the ancient masters that was imparted to him by his master. His advice was always that instead of reading, it was better to meditate on authentic sources or rather on direct sources, on scriptures like these, for that would draw in the uncontaminated versions or interpretations of authors.

Discourse on "Avdhoot Gita"
With Guruma and Babaji. Babaji was physically in a shivir at this time.
Whatever and however and wherever, whether at home, at office or in shivirs, he is always bubbling with child-like enthusiasm and energy. Above all this, is a very mature and responsible head and shoulders that is ever ready to help others. A mind and body that can push to any limits beyond it's normal stretch. The most best part i adore in him is the softest heart that he carries. Filled with love, compassion, understanding, love that many times gets shielded by the encasement of a strong human body. This is seldom seen, for he deliberately or conveniently hides it or shies away from this most powerful human quality that makes a human Godly.

At the same time, totally multi-tasking in various different activities that his each role as a son, husband, brother, and an Acharya to the world, where so many are connected to him in so many ways. One of the most dynamic example to the current generation that managing life to the peak is possible - both in the world and out of the world - as a householder and as a monk. An example of how one can become a strong vessel to his master's grace. An example of how to handle challenges and spearhead through it with a smile and poise. An example of how to remain level-headed at all times. An example of how to take life with an openness to learn and how not to take life too seriously, which he often shares in his shivirs of everything he learns from life and Babaji. A rare amazing feature of him is the ability to become a servant to the servant and act as father to his father, which are those moments which none can explain, showing the amazing responsibilities and mastery of certain aspects of life.

Never noticed him backing off from anything, with the willingness and enthusiasm to do anything and everything, head on. He can jump into a slow-moving satsang like he did once on the Mahashivratri night in the ashram, and grabbing the dholak played it with such intense passion and intensity for close to an hour, that blood oozed out of his fingers. Never being bothered much about it, after an hour he resumed playing the dholak with the same passion, least bothered about his injury. Same way, he can jump into a children's gathering and take on the responsibility of the anchor and bring out spontaneous games and activities to make the children burst forth with energy, laughter and frolic. He can put rules and regulations and formalities at stake with his direct and straight attitude of dealing with things to-the-point and not going merry-go-round with it. His words and actions are often very direct and not within the confines of the societal conditioning, like a yogi who is not bothered about the formalities of the societies and its bounding conditions that prohibits one from being oneself - the quality of walking the footsteps of the Siddha lineage.

Since a very young age, he has been moving with his father and Guru and assisting Him in His mission, he already has begun unfolding his own mysteries and wisdom in many ways as he now assists Babaji full-fledged in the Divine mission. While assisting in Babaji's mission of awakening souls around the globe, he does not really seem to be independent, for his Guru is fully awakened within Him, which is very much evident in the shivirs. Though being powerful himself spiritually in many ways, this is something which can never be noticed being revealed in any aspect of his daily living due to the least importance given by him to be demonstrated or bragged about. Of course, all that is seen is not the end of what he is, mysterious that he is in many ways, often exhibiting mystical stuff unknowingly as he lives his normal life.

Though this article may seem to be in praise for him, it still does not fully justify to cover many aspects about him that are noteworthy but still not mentioned. But, knowing that he never like things this way, it was never an inspiration to write, but today just thinking about him, could not resist from writing, which is the best way i could offer my love for him as a guide and inspiration in my life journey. This hands, body and mind may not be worthy to express about souls like Babaji and Ishan bhaiya, but yet i attempt to catch a little glitter of the divine touches into this space. In gratitude to him and gratitude to Babaji, divine love and light. Namah shivay.
