The Master takes us to his Tapobhoomi

Beautiful 3 days spent in the land of Rajasthan with the Master.  Every nook and corner we travelled in Lalsot had posters of the shivir at every locations including taxis and markets. One thing i was surprised with was the heights of hospitality in a world where one thinks of so many excuses or shrinks away to even offer someone a glass of water or tea and here are the Rajasthanis, who go beyond anything to serve their guests. All the while i was thinking that the home next to the venue, where we ate food, was a place arranged by people for us as done in other locations we travel to. To my surprise while we sat on the ground and ate our food in the huge compound of this home, i saw many new people walking into this compound inside which sat ladies of the house making rotis. When people walked in, they were asked to sit, paper plates were laid and food was served immediately. The lady making rotis asked all those seated continuously whether they wanted rotis. If it was a yes, she would

The power of communicating through your Bhaava (intent)

While at the Bangalore shivir in 2013, a little piece of paper came from an unseen child. It was a very innocent letter. i had read stories of children writing letters to God and this was not an exception in any way. The paper had this small Pardeshwara sketched on it and behind it were very few words scribbled in pencil which indicated that she must have been a very small child. It had these innocent words "Dear Babaji, Always be with me. Make me not fear of anything and let me not get pain (meaning hurt) when somebody does something to me. Please come to my house Babaji. My number ------- My address ------- Lots of love ----- "  Was so touched by this emotion and innocence of the child. The words he/she had written "..... let me not get pain (meaning hurt) when somebody does something to me..." Simply revealed what a forgiving child it was. Mostly, a scared one. It's so touching to see a frightened child. I can relate with this through my own such childhood. A

Guru is the reminder of the Ultimate Goal of Life

The journey always begins from dvaita (duality) and has to end with advaita (nonduality). First it is always separate, be it even with God. The idol or the form is outside and you become the worshiper to that form. You pray, plead, call, talk to that form or image or to that Beloved. You crave to savour the form through your senses - see, hear, touch speak to, the fragrance. When you begin realising the form in your heart, when you experience it within, when you become one with the Beloved, all forms are simply no more an obsession. Same is it with the Guru. No Satguru likes his students obsessed and attached to his physical form. My Master always ensured of this with me. This is what I always tried to practise for these are the greatest teaching on the Guru marg. Then I realised that whether I was in physical proximity or not, the nondual is the most powerful. The self-realized Master can reach his disciple in a spur of a second and knows this eternal truth, which the disciple may not
