The Master takes us to his Tapobhoomi

Beautiful 3 days spent in the land of Rajasthan with the Master.  Every nook and corner we travelled in Lalsot had posters of the shivir at every locations including taxis and markets. One thing i was surprised with was the heights of hospitality in a world where one thinks of so many excuses or shrinks away to even offer someone a glass of water or tea and here are the Rajasthanis, who go beyond anything to serve their guests. All the while i was thinking that the home next to the venue, where we ate food, was a place arranged by people for us as done in other locations we travel to. To my surprise while we sat on the ground and ate our food in the huge compound of this home, i saw many new people walking into this compound inside which sat ladies of the house making rotis. When people walked in, they were asked to sit, paper plates were laid and food was served immediately. The lady making rotis asked all those seated continuously whether they wanted rotis. If it was a yes, she would

Sadhana - No time!

This is a guest article by Shruti Sethi.. was pending since some time and yesterday Baba talked of some Yam-Niyam (spiritual disciplines) and i thought probably it should published.. namah shivaya.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This article is specially written for those sadhaks who have received the divine grace from Babaji and not meditating/ not meditating regularly because TIME NAHI MILTA. Babaji in one of his discourses said that there are three categories of sadhaks: Category 1  - Who come attend the shivir go back home and don’t practice. They ll get some benefit as a lot of karmas are shed in the shivir. Category 2 – Who attend shivir and observe the principles and meditate. They meditate for themselves. They perform well and grow both spiritually and materialistically. Category 3 – Who attend shivir. Meditate for themselves and for their family members and others. They are the best category. One might think why should I meditate on

Something that struck me today and there was no intention to write anything, but started with this thought and something flowed. Hope it helps.. Again, i am trying to share with the only intent that it might help someone. Reader's discretion advised :) As the coming time of ascension comes, few dynamic words - like awareness is going to be the need of the hour. It is no more the philosophical or just another simple word from the guru :)  As many paths, so many ways, so many methods, techniques, talks, debates, religions, forms, knowledge, and so so many ways that manifest unto us through infinite means and mediums. With the approach of the ascension period and spread of light, spirituality takes a new outlook altogether, something which had been predicted or anticipated hundreds and thousands of years ago by sages. The only difference that is seen around now with the new wave of spirituality is that the same words are spoken in much adaptation to the much advanced world, the sam

DISCLAIMER This blog is not official and is maintained by a sadhak. No methods, mantras or sadhana are shared. It is the authority of the GURU and only He is eligible to teach sadhana. Please avoid asking for any audio links that are the property of the foundation. However, videos from the foundation are available on ShivyogChannel  channel on youtube and also on the official site. Please  note that it is ultimately the sadhana and Guru Kripa that will ultimately help. Effort here is only to help you boost towards these two aspects. May Babaji's love and grace continue to prevail with every being of existence and help us all ascend back  to where we came from.... In gratitude, namah shivaya.

Enhancing Spiritual Practices

All the below observations and suggestions are not mine. These are important lessons that i eventually learn from Babaji and share it here if it may help you.   Gratitude at Babaji's feet for this opportunity. Results should not be anticipated quickly. The more the karmic debts, the more the time it takes to clear. Sadhana becomes more effective when the basic 6 foundation teachings of Babaji are followed simultaneously. ( Click here to read about them) Keep a check on how you react because your reaction creates further karma. The more you cry, fret and fume, the more suffering at that moment and more the creation of sankaras thus amounting to more karmas. Moreover, during such low and negative moments the connection with the guru/divine gets more difficult. So be aware the moment you start getting low. Practice "har haal mein khushi" even if it looks impossible. Sincere repeated attempts are what makes you eligible for Guru kripa or the grac

Revising ShivYog

Namah Shivaya, No, this is not the same article and same old stuff :) An attempt has been made here to look at the same things in a little different way and it could possibly give a click somewhere if just read once. These are again the very simplified teachings of Babaji in a language that we can understand. Babaji has decoded so many of the high-lcoded and flowery language of the scriptures and also the very secrets of holy siddhas into plain simple language that we can understand and follow. Yet sometimes due to various reasons we may tend to overlook these simple teachings. It is known  that everyone understands and interprets any language or wisdom at the individual level of consciousness and reads it at that level of understanding. That is one simple reason why we need a guru, why we need Babaji to share what He interprets and understands at His high level of consciousness at which level most of the secrets are embedded in the ancient wisdom of scriptur

...and I thought...

Just sharing my views in a different format so that it becomes interesting to read. Trying here to share what I thought before I met Babaji, which if looked upon carefully, has a message in every sentence; and that is my intention to convey through here.  The "I" used in this article is a representation of an individual. Download:        Medium size  (800 x 600)       Large size   (1024 x 768) Here I am in binding with the one truth that Babaji teaches, but before coming here I had some foolish thoughts and myths. Before coming here... I thought I would always be discriminated on religion, caste, creed, color, position and status. I thought I had to learn and read scriptures and prayers because it was enforced on me. I thought I had to compromise on ethical values to live in the world. I thought through books or stories that saints and pure people only lived in the past. I thought Christ's healing powers, miracles, unconditional love, forgiveness was only reserve

Why I practice ShivYog

All such articles and articles of personal experiences are shared in this blog with the intention that it may help or assist or guide or strengthen or provide conviction to sadhaks or non-ShivYog sadhaks in some or the other way. Also, note that experiences, views, enthusiasm and convictions on such topics differs from person to person. There should kindly be no comparison made with individual experiences, views, enthusiasm and convictions. I have written before what can happen with sharing experiences.  With hopes that this article should be able to instigate the reader the same question as this article title and help one refresh the practice. There were many paths, many gurus, many methods. I went through many paths, met and tried to learn about many gurus, tried many methods and finally chose one! None of the other gurus, paths and methods were disappointing or non-appealing. Every guru had something or the other precious to teach, every path had its own charm and every method

ShivYog Food for your Thought

Namah Shivaya readers, This is a guest article which was sent directly to this blog and I am publishing it as sent including the mail lines for clear understanding. Except the little formatting here and there and images, the entire text is maintained as sent. for originality. I believe it should be useful for new sadhaks. Thank you Ushaji. Namah Shivaya. I am in this path of ShivYog for only about two years now but feel it has completely taken over my life and I feel very fortunate that I found Baba Shivanandji at this point in my life. I was writing a mail to my best friend describing my learning through ShivYog. A s I continued to type, it turned into a long description, it seemed like a good intro of basic teachings (covered only some aspects...I am only a beginner and the learning is never ending) Can this be useful reading for your blog followers? Thanks for everything, Usha Mehta Some ShivYog Food for your Thought A) Babaji says our Soul memory carries past
