The Master takes us to his Tapobhoomi

Image
Beautiful 3 days spent in the land of Rajasthan with the Master. Every nook and corner we travelled in Lalsot had posters of the shivir at every locations including taxis and markets. One thing i was surprised with was the heights of hospitality in a world where one thinks of so many excuses or shrinks away to even offer someone a glass of water or tea and here are the Rajasthanis, who go beyond anything to serve their guests. All the while i was thinking that the home next to the venue, where we ate food, was a place arranged by people for us as done in other locations we travel to. To my surprise while we sat on the ground and ate our food in the huge compound of this home, i saw many new people walking into this compound inside which sat ladies of the house making rotis. When people walked in, they were asked to sit, paper plates were laid and food was served immediately. The lady making rotis asked all those seated continuously whether they wanted rotis. If it was a yes, she would …

Follow or Practice?

Image
Was just pondering over Baba's teachings.... a question that came up was - Do i follow His teachings or practice His teachings? There was a hell of a difference! When one is seemingly a spiritual person, how many times does one grind teeth or punch into one's own palms with anger towards someone or something. That is also violence even if one has been nonviolently living without arguments, fights in real life. Following a path makes one live nonviolently externally but practicing a path makes one nonviolent both internally and externally. Following a path makes one live according to how one is looked at because there are certain expectations from people, towards the one who is following a path, religion, scripture, etc., but practicing the path dawns upon one the Guru's grace that makes one aware of these subtlest forms and thus even the inspiration to attempt to remove them. Otherwise, it is only a life of myth of believing that one is spiritual in the mask of following a …

Guru Purnima Inner Celebration

Image
The Guru Purnima is a day that all around the world, spiritual aspirants offer gratitude to their respective Gurus, for Gurus are the ones who are guiding them in the stream of human life to attain the higher goals of life.
On the occasion of Guru Purnima of 2013, i was thinking in all probabilities what can be offered to the Guru, who is working day and night for the welfare of others, whose priority has always been the Creator and the welfare of the Creator's creation. Apart from the overwhelming gratitude towards this Savior anything else will not come closer to any other offering that one could chose to give. With gratitude flows love.
Guru Purnima is a very ancient celebration offered to the Guru on this auspicious full moon day. i cannot imagine what a magnificent activity would it be, subtly, when millions are connected to the Guru Tatva though their beloved Gurus. One can imagine how charged the atmosphere would be and how wonderfully aligned and connected we could be, th…

Happy Birthday!

Image
Though Birthdays may not hold any major celebration for you since every day is a celebration for you. But, for us your Birthday will always hold great significance and a reason to celebrate because with this day you were gifted to us.
With this day, you entered a realm of the physical, the only dimension where finite humans with limitations can be connected to with the limitations of the five senses, for the only reason that we rise above these and reach the infinite.
You who give everyone the very best of lifedeserve the best gift from all of us, your children.
You who need nothing, what can we offer you as gifts?  We offer you today our earnest desire to transcend human limitations.
We offer you today our commitments to become better human beings.
We offer you today to follow whole-heartedly what you teach us.
We offer you today the commitment of self-transformation through the sadhna and practices that you shared with us.
For we know that working on our own selveswith pure intentions and…

Sadhak's way of reading

Image
Books are no doubt the carrier of great wisdom and are the best and most convenient means of sharing knowledge and learning.  Great scriptures were written by great yogis of ancient times, who received information on the secrets of the Universe in deep sadhna. These were transferred by Yogis through books. Down the time, even great masters and saints used books as great tools to record and share their insights and experiences for the benefit of others.
However, everyone from every field, literally has been using this medium for sharing and gradually this means also became a great commercial means to earn money. Thus, the market is flooded with information on anything and everything in the human dimensions and beyond. Everything that is written is a transfer of energy from the author's consciousness into the word form which the reader picks up into the reader's consciousness.  Hence, for a sadhak or seeker it becomes very important to select the right kind of books. Right kind o…

Compassion of the Guru

Image
Note: Please do excuse the grammar and punctuations; there were left unedited deliberately to maintain the originality of the flow of words. With lots of gratitude to the sadhak to helped transcribe this.

The Guru’s compassion and Grace is always the same for every follower, irrespective of the seeker’s distance, level of consciousness, whether known or unknown to the Guru that is seen or unseen by the Guru. How much each receives depends upon how much one wants to receive. The most distant unseen sadhak can receive what even the closest of seen sadhak can’t receive. That’s how powerful the seeker’s bhaav can be …… or pure intentions. And that’s how powerful the Guru’s love and compassion is for all equally.
Babaji often refers to the example of the Sun, of being totally unconditionally, supplying energy and light to the whole cosmos. It shares it's light to everyone in the whole vicinity, whether animal or human, whether earth or plant. It does not differentiate anything at all. A…

Namah Shivaya Dear and Blessed ones!

Had been off for sometime now as life kept me busy with many things but never-the-less had been missing this personal space of sharing little things and being in touch with so many friends through this blog. It has always been a great privilege and great pleasure to share so much about the sparks of divinity and about the love and compassion of our Guru.

Will make an attempt to put some time in here and stay connected. The year 2012 has been great in many ways - winning, laughing, crying, rejoicing, fearing, loving, etc, etc but the ultimatum realized in everything is the lesson hidden behind everything to help us grow and evolve, as our Babaji always taught us. Learning from 2012, and creating a successful strong human chain for the ascension period of December 2012, now let us look forward to make a great 2013, in every little way we can. Hope to catch up soon. Stay blessed.

Season's best compliments and greetings to you and your loved ones!

Baba ji's Navratra Message

by Shiv Yog Foundation (facebook)

True knowledge of the Infinite and wisdom of the Absolute can only be received by the Guru, and for the disciple to get that, he must bow at the Guru’s holy feet. It is comparable with a stream of water which flows from top to bottom. Thus, only when you are ready to receive can you be given what you deserve.
The sacrosanct Durga saptshati is neither a ‘Puran’ nor a ‘Shastra’. It is the direct grace of goddess Bhagvati. it is the seed (base) of all Vedas . And for the Devi Upasaks, Ma has given this power and this knowledge in the form of Durga Saptshati. Since times immemorial, it has been said that this knowledge is locked (keelit gyan).  People think the power of the mantra is locked. Both the affirmations are correct in their own right but the actual truth is that in it lie, in a veil of secrecy, the secrets of Devi  and the secrets of the whole universe . And till the time someone does not meditate on Devi,  these  secrets remain hidden.
