The Master takes us to his Tapobhoomi

Image
Beautiful 3 days spent in the land of Rajasthan with the Master.  Every nook and corner we travelled in Lalsot had posters of the shivir at every locations including taxis and markets. One thing i was surprised with was the heights of hospitality in a world where one thinks of so many excuses or shrinks away to even offer someone a glass of water or tea and here are the Rajasthanis, who go beyond anything to serve their guests. All the while i was thinking that the home next to the venue, where we ate food, was a place arranged by people for us as done in other locations we travel to. To my surprise while we sat on the ground and ate our food in the huge compound of this home, i saw many new people walking into this compound inside which sat ladies of the house making rotis. When people walked in, they were asked to sit, paper plates were laid and food was served immediately. The lady making rotis asked all those seated continuously whether they wanted rotis. If it was a yes, she would

Prayers to Brahma, Vishnu, Maheshwara

Image
Image courtesy: Walter Plitt Quintin Had a crazy thought, but thought it would be crazier not to express than to avoid the thought :D Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh. Creation, Sustenance, Destruction. Past, Present, Future. i was just pondering on how we experience the three only in struggles in the human form. Struggling during birth, struggling with existence, and struggling at the time of death. People of light, after the light dawns into their lives, realize that one has happened (birth), the second is at hand (existence) and the third (death) is yet to come. What is right now at hand is existence. But that also goes in struggle because of the urges in sustaining, holding on to, grabbing, seizing, possessing, accumulating, planning, maintenance, safeguarding, investing, producing humans, etc, etc, which are all various expressions of the individual struggling ONLY to sustain itself. Was thinking that even in simplest of things in life, the three are always involved. Unless a pe

The greatness of a Guru

Image
In total love, gratitude and reverence to Babaji, from whom i have learnt and am learning through His subtle presence as the guiding force, light and wisdom throughout my experiences on the journey back to light. A Guru is a teacher and guide who comes into your life only when you are ready, never otherwise, even though the reasons or circumstances in which a Guru appears in your life might seem totally away from this fact.  Only at a certain stage when the evolution of the soul is ripe enough for higher escalation, the Guru appears. An omnipresent Guru will know every aspect of the seekers much before the seeker even has seen or known the Guru. It is not important that it is known to all about this but if one knows it is much better for it enhances one's relationship with the Guru. Baba appeared in many people's life in strange ways and at even the most unexpected circumstances. That is the proof of the the Divine's love for you, for it arranges for a mediator to rea

Filling my cup first...

Image
It is true that as a human being we have qualities of compassion and the urge to help the creation which is the most beautiful quality given by the Creator. But, in order to help, we must first be filled in with the quality we wish to give. We must behold it first to give it to others. We are the cup placed in the creation of the Creator. The cup MUST be filled first to overflow and reach into the creation. To give anything out, be it love, hatred, peace, joy, fear, etc, i must first hold that quality fully, only then i can reach out to others. If i wish to give love, it cannot reach others until i am full with it and likewise if i wish to give fear and hatred to others, i cannot be giving it until i am myself first filled with it. So, to help others, i must help myself first. Sadhna on oneself first is what Baba always teaches. All are concerns of the world cannot be dealt with in the same coin. Babaji's teachings never teach eye for an eye and tooth for a toot

Any Lie Can Become Your Truth

Image
"If you repeat a lie often enough, it becomes the truth." ~ Joseph Goebbels. An alarming statement to what can happen with negative thinking. First, a negative idea looks very natural and okay. When repeated often, we will not even know when it has become a part of us. So also does a lie. How many times has it happened that lies are casually told in daily life, thinking it is okay, and sometimes even in the name of Shudh Bhavna. We can say our intention was good and speak a lie or do a negative thing that we later justify under pure intentions.... unaware of the dangerous pattern it is creating, each time digging the nail of the lie deeper into the psyche. It would not be a surprise to one day notice how effortlessly the lie has become a truth and one even starts acting or speaking in that way without even knowing. Others will notice it but not you because by now it has become a totally unconscious act. The Guru sees this. God sees this. Your conscious

Outcomes of Unconditional Love

Image
I often wonder, how can someone continuously pray for others? For other's well being, for people's spiritual growth, for ascension of the restless souls, for welfare of all communities, for nature.. How can one pray day and night only for others? Can only wonder mouth open, for it's not easy until one has unconditional love, that is, wishing for highest good of others without personal agendas. Our Baba does it _/\_

Reading Secrets for Seekers

Image
Books written by great Masters are not mere recordings. You can say they are literally the transfer of their consciousness into their works. A simple man writes for communicating a certain piece or knowledge or information but an adept transfers their knowledge or information as it is even though they may be writing with their hands.  What gets recorded is the subtle property of that information. It not necessarily is transferred into the reader but is transferred in the subtle form of the writing or recordings or print, whatever the medium looks to be. The transfer only happens in subtlety when another subtle form becomes receptive to it which lie in the writings. The receptive subtle form of the reader depends on his/her level of awareness of consciousness and his/her keenness and intention of 'knowing'. The gross form of the reader is the eyes that read it, the brain that interprets it and the mind that gives sense to it. Just like the mind's giving meaning to it depe

Follow or Practice?

Image
Was just pondering over Baba's teachings.... a question that came up was - Do i follow His teachings or practice His teachings? There was a hell of a difference! When one is seemingly a spiritual person, how many times does one grind teeth or punch into one's own palms with anger towards someone or something. That is also violence even if one has been nonviolently living without arguments, fights in real life. Following a path makes one live nonviolently externally but practicing a path makes one nonviolent both internally and externally. Following a path makes one live according to how one is looked at because there are certain expectations from people, towards the one who is following a path, religion, scripture, etc., but practicing the path dawns upon one the Guru's grace that makes one aware of these subtlest forms and thus even the inspiration to attempt to remove them. Otherwise, it is only a life of myth of believing that one is spiritual in the mask of follow
