The Master takes us to his Tapobhoomi

Beautiful 3 days spent in the land of Rajasthan with the Master.  Every nook and corner we travelled in Lalsot had posters of the shivir at every locations including taxis and markets. One thing i was surprised with was the heights of hospitality in a world where one thinks of so many excuses or shrinks away to even offer someone a glass of water or tea and here are the Rajasthanis, who go beyond anything to serve their guests. All the while i was thinking that the home next to the venue, where we ate food, was a place arranged by people for us as done in other locations we travel to. To my surprise while we sat on the ground and ate our food in the huge compound of this home, i saw many new people walking into this compound inside which sat ladies of the house making rotis. When people walked in, they were asked to sit, paper plates were laid and food was served immediately. The lady making rotis asked all those seated continuously whether they wanted rotis. If it was a yes, she would

Past life analysis - Roadblock

Note: A guest article. Author has requested anonymity, hence reader's discretion advised. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Once a sadhak is on the path the third eye starts opening. It becomes very easy to have glimpses of the past life. Especially people who are initiated into prati prasav sadhana can easily start getting glimpses of the past lives. Glimpses can be in the form of vision, hearing something, or recollecting some memories or emotions coming up on the surface. Babaji says that we should just have a drishta bhaav (witness) of what we see in our meditation. This means we should just witness what comes as views without applying our logic minds, judgements and emotions. I give you some examples how we apply emotions, judgements in such things. If in your meditation you have a glimpse and you start judging that this is nice or this bad, or getting exited that something is coming up and you want to get into each and every detail of what

Sadhana - No time!

This is a guest article by Shruti Sethi.. was pending since some time and yesterday Baba talked of some Yam-Niyam (spiritual disciplines) and i thought probably it should published.. namah shivaya.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This article is specially written for those sadhaks who have received the divine grace from Babaji and not meditating/ not meditating regularly because TIME NAHI MILTA. Babaji in one of his discourses said that there are three categories of sadhaks: Category 1  - Who come attend the shivir go back home and don’t practice. They ll get some benefit as a lot of karmas are shed in the shivir. Category 2 – Who attend shivir and observe the principles and meditate. They meditate for themselves. They perform well and grow both spiritually and materialistically. Category 3 – Who attend shivir. Meditate for themselves and for their family members and others. They are the best category. One might think why should I meditate on

Mother's Day at Ashram

Thanks Shruti Sethi for this transmission. Stay blessed.. It was mother’s day today and on this occasion went to ashram with the hope that Guruma and Babaji might turn up physically, and Guruma turned up for the weekly satsang. After Swadhay and meditation was the sankirtan – “Ek din bandiya tu udd jaana, palat ke aana nahi. Manav janam amol hai bandiya enu gavana nahi…. Wahe guru wahe guru………” Guruma said its Mother’s day today. Children wished her in the morning and Babaji asked the children to wish him too. To this children replied “aap mother thodi ho”. Babaji said “don’t you wish me happy diwali, main diwali thodi hoon, wish everyone on mother’s day”. Guruma laughingly said this is Babaji’s logic  J Guruma then started discussing the bhajan mentioned above. One day we all have to leave this body. It is upto us how we use this time. One can ruin this human life in crying or cribbing or complaining or wasting the time in nonessential activities. There are many ways to waste this

God knows; Don't interfere

This is a beautiful story that was shared on facebook by Chandni Shridhar as a message but i felt i must share it here to all because this has great relevance to what Babaji taught us in "The Theory of Karma". This story simply illustrates in a very simple way how everything functions perfectly, though we perceive things in our lives and all around as chaos and suffering. "Blessing in disguise" is what we have heard all our lives but never wanting to experience or live it due to impatience in not allowing nature to take it's natural course but we wanting to make everything go our way. Again, the opportunity comes here to put the three major teachings of Babaji in one breath at the end of this story. Namah Shivaya! Once there was a sweeper in a temple and he was very sincere and devoted. Every time he saw thousands of devotees coming to worship the Lord, he thought that the Lord is standing all the time and giving help and He must be feeling very tired. So

Diabetes & Food - The solution

With gratitude Babaji and to Shruti Seth for this very informative guest article. Diabetes – The Major Reasons And The Cure. ( Delhi Shivyog Shivir 2011) In Delhi shivir (Jan 2011), a new medical research was undertaken by Dr. Chaudhary and his team with Babaji’s consent. This time the focus of research was on diabetes. India has the most number of diabetic patients. The study goes like this - Sample size of 100 people were taken divided into 4 sub samples – 25 people who are diabetic and non shivyogis, 25 people who are healthy shivyogis, 25 people who are diabetic and taking regular medicines (shivyogi) and the fourth one 25 people who are diabetic and not taking medicines and handling it only by diet control and other methods (shivyogis). The blood samples of these groups were taken on the first day of shivir and 8 th day of shivir. This study will continue for 6 months. Babaji in mass healing requested only those people to come forward who are committed that they will practi

Doing everything with feelings

A short guest article from Shruti Sethi about the recent Delhi Shivir (Jan 2011).... read on... One of the major focuses in Delhi Shivyog shivir was on doing things in totality. When I say totality, it means when your body, mind and soul are in sync. Babaji in mass healing session said swadhaya is a sound therapy. The vibrations which comes out the mantra chanting heals the body and mind and helps in connecting with your higher self. When you chant NAMAH SHIVAY, it leads to purification of the five tatvas (earth, water, fire, air and sky) of which the body is made. If the tatvas are impure they lead to many disturbances in life. If we talk in terms of health, then if earth element is impure then a person would be having muscular and bones related problems. Impurities in the water element leads to reproductive problems and the kidney related problems. If agni tatva is imbalanced then a person would have digestion problems. Impurities in the air element would lead to respiratory and
